Carl Rossow, co-founder and COO of Benenson Strategy Group, has more than 20 years of experience working in an executive capacity in the research industry. During that time, he has overseen the research field operations for three successful U.S. presidential races, including Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, 12 premiers and presidents around the globe, and more than 5,000 corporate and advocacy clients.
His expertise in research techniques has made him one of the leading innovators in the field of research and polling. He was a pioneer in computer automated interviewing in the malls for ad testing, and reinvented online surveys by being among the first to introduce hybrid research using integrated qualitative chats, automated online sample delivery and real-time voter verification.
Since co-founding BSG in 2000, Carl has overseen operations for the firm, working to foster continued innovation, standardize best practices and maximize operational efficiencies to ensure BSG continues to provide cutting-edge research and insights. Through Carl's expertise, BSG's polling is acknowledged to be among the most accurate in the industry.
Carl was named one of the top 25 most influential young professionals under the age of 40 in Colorado in 2010. In 2012, Carl and BSG were named “Partner of the Year" by the Jewish Federation of Colorado for the firm’s work helping the Federation re-imagine its future.
Carl is a founding board member of the National Federation for Fertility Research and sits on the board of Jewish Colorado. He also launched two other successful market research ventures, including iModerate and GutCheck. Carl received his initial training from the Social and Demographic Research Institute at the University of Massachusetts.
