Senior Associate
Amanda Bowles is a Senior Associate at the Benenson Strategy Group. Since joining the firm in 2006, Amanda has played a significant role in managing corporate, political, and institutional projects, providing research and strategic guidance to a wide variety of clients. She has been an integral part of Benenson Strategy Group’s work on the Obama for America campaigns, and was a member of the team that won Pollster of the Year and two of the Advertising Research Foundation’s Ogilvy Awards.
Amanda has worked on some of the most competitive political races in the country, devising messaging and targeting strategies for reaching swing voters, and ran the firm’s work for the DCCC in the 2012 campaign cycle. Her public affairs research includes numerous state budget battles, as well as public policy fights on health care, energy, labor, and education. She also plays a significant role in managing the work we do for the nation’s leading labor unions. On the corporate side, Amanda has managed research for many of the firm’s corporate clients, utilizing BSG’s political approach to help corporate clients win their strategic challenges. Besides managing research projects, Amanda takes a leading role in training and managing the firm’s associates and analysts. She is also a RIVA-trained focus group moderator.
Prior to joining Benenson Strategy Group, Amanda was a Political Analyst for the Consulate General of Japan in New York, and worked for several years at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. She holds a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College.
