Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Carl Rossow is a co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer of the Benenson Strategy Group and has more than 15 years’ worth of experience in the research industry as a researcher and technologist. Rossow has carved out a niche as a research expert, drawing off experience with telephone, mall-test, in-person and online methods. His expertise in project design, implementation and quality assurance achieves strategic results across various market segments and industries. Rossow continues to develop creative and innovative methodological approaches to challenging situations. He started his career as vice president of Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates. At PSB, Rossow managed the internal field operations for Clinton-Gore and was a pioneer in computer-automated interviewing in the malls for ad testing. Since then he has founded three other market research ventures, including a telephone field facility and iModerate. He is responsible for developing the platform, infrastructure and technology on which iModerate is built and, in addition, oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. His vast expertise in the areas of software, program development, field operations and research techniques has made him one of the leading innovators in the field.
