Bob is a seasoned expert in survey methodology, polling, and policy research, with over two decades of experience spanning nonprofit, academic, government, and commercial sectors. Prior to joining BSG, he served as Executive Vice President at Ipsos Public Affairs, where he led high-profile polling projects. Bob began his career in 2001 as an economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, where he developed a strong foundation in data analysis and statistical methods.
His expertise in survey design and polling techniques has led to influential research for key clients, establishing him as a respected authority in the field. Bob's innovative approaches to opinion polling have helped shape public discourse and inform policy decisions at the highest levels.
Bob's impact extends beyond his professional accomplishments; he has contributed significantly to the advancement of research methods, publishing numerous papers on statistical modeling, polling accuracy, and innovative research techniques. Since 2018, Bob has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor of public policy at Johns Hopkins University. His commitment to the field is further demonstrated by his role on the Executive Council of the American Association for Public Opinion Research, where he serves as Communications Chair.
