Kathleen Hanley

Kathleen Hanley is a research manager in the Los Angeles office. Kathleen has previously worked on local, state, and national political campaigns where she found a passion for democratic reforms. She later worked on efforts to empower voters and eliminate gerrymandering at the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, advocating for fair congressional and legislative maps in states across the U.S.
Kathleen grew up in the wine country of Northern California prior to moving to Los Angeles. She holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and communication and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Southern California. As an MPP, she focused primarily on electoral and social policy. She is a self-proclaimed policy wonk!
