Shaun Posey

Shaun Posey is a vice president at BSG. From developing efficiencies and time-saving techniques across the firm using AI tools, to longer-term efforts to integrate AI into our research and analysis, Shaun leads BSG’s AI initiatives. Shaun also oversees efforts to identify, adopt, and maximize the use of new software and technology for data visualization, various research tools, and statistical analysis at BSG. He works with our client teams to provide analysis and visualizations by request, as well as planning, training, and implementation of new initiatives.

 

Prior to transitioning to this role, Shaun has held multiple roles at BSG, including Director of Research Tools & Technology and Manager of Data Processing. Prior to joining BSG, he worked at Hart Research as a Data Processor, as well as other roles in research, nonprofit work, youth development, and youth employment counseling. Shaun graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Inequality & Development. He enjoys music, snowboarding, skateboarding, and lots of other outdoor activities.

 

Shaun has developed innovative ways to integrate AI tools and other new techniques into our analysis. AI technology and the marketplace of research tools are constantly evolving, and it is more important than ever for BSG to continue to develop and innovate.
