BSG provides high quality data to the marketing research industry while assuring respondents’ privacy and confidentiality.

What data do we collect when you complete a survey?
BSG does not and will never ask for personal data or personal information as part of a survey. Surveys may include questions about preferences, attitudes and basic demographics for analysis aggregate analytical purposes in the aggregate.

Respondents will never be asked for private information such as your credit card or social security numbers as a part of our research.
The only data BSG collects are responses to survey questions.

What data do we collect if respondents are entitled to an incentive or prize?
NOTE: If respondent is a resident of the State of California, see ‘Privacy Statement – California’ below.

If respondents are entitled to an incentive/prize related to participating in a survey, BSG will ask for an email address for contact purposes related to the incentive/prize.

To provide the incentive/prize, BSG may require further personal information including full name and home address.
For incentives/prizes, BSG will collect and maintain such personal information as we are required to maintain or report by virtue of any law or regulation.

How will we use your data when you complete a survey?
BSG collects survey response data for analysis in the aggregate, that is, analysis of groups – not individuals.

Individual information is never reviewed or published, as it is irrelevant to the research conducted on behalf of our clients. All individual responses are held confidentially and are not linked to any personal information you may provide, as described above.

No individual information collected from respondents to our surveys is sold or transferred to third parties – our clients only receive aggregated data and reports and not individual responses.

How will we use your data when you are entitled to a prize or incentive?
If you are entitled to an incentive/prize related to participating in a survey, BSG will use your personal information to provide you with that incentive/prize.

No personal information collected from individuals that claim an incentive or prize is sold or transferred to third parties.

Access to any personal information is restricted and limited to few key personnel.

BSG uses cookies on survey forms for technical purposes only. We do not store or retain your cookie information in any way following the entry of these forms. Cookies are used only temporarily during the time you are actively completing a survey.

Winners’ policy
Some individuals who take our surveys are randomly selected to win prizes for participation in surveys, polls, and other promotions. All winners are notified by email of their winnings.

BSG will not knowingly collect any information from any individual under the age of 13 without permission from his/her parents or legal guardian. BSG is in adherence to all COPPA rules and regulations.

To comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws this privacy policy is for California residents and supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy of Benenson Strategy Group (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to survey respondents claiming a prize/incentive who are residents of the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this policy.

BSG collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“personal information”). Within the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers:

Identifiers: A real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, Social Security number, driver's license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers.

Personal information does not include publicly available information from government records, de-identified or aggregated consumer information.

Once we receive and verify your request, and no exception applies, we will delete and direct our service providers to delete your personal information as requested. We will contact you to confirm the deletion and the manner in which it was deleted.

Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights

Only you or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.

For the purpose of verification, we may request further information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request.

There is no charge for exercising your request, however, if it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded we may charge a reasonable fee based upon the administrative costs of providing the information to you or taking the action requested. We may also refuse to act on the request and will notify you of the reason for refusing the request.

Response Timing
Upon receiving a verifiable consumer request, we aim to deliver the required information within 45 days. Where we require more time (up to a further 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period.
